Introduction[ | ]

Paul reveals this location after staying with you for a while. It is a former army base located in a desert and consists five buildings surrounded by a concrete wall. This would make for a good safe heaven against the zombies if only...

Location[ | ]

The army base is located 20 miles south-east from Abilene on Route 283.

Resources[ | ]

This is a place with a substantial amount of fuel and a reasonable amount of luxuries, food and parts. Unlike what you might expect the base itself has no special weapons or ammo to offer, it is an old army base, after all.

Notable Loot[ | ]

  • Dumbbells
  • Data Items

Doors, locks and alarms[ | ]

With the exception of the workshop building all the buildings have closed and locked doors, most rated 60. The largest building in the back has an alarm. Some buildings have internal locked doors as well and those have a rating of 40.

Allies & Neutrals[ | ]

None.

Enemies[ | ]

  • Zombies(20+)

Despite adequate defenses the base has been overrun by the living dead. It looks like a truck was used to breach the gate to get in, but this also failed to keep the zombies out. The dead all are outside and inside the workshop to the left of the entrance.

Remarks: Zombies will spawn when making loud noises.

Notes[ | ]

Possible spoiler: The base gives access to an underground bunker. If you are having trouble entering the bunker, one method is to separate your party members, then tab over each party member after clicking on the stairway. If done right, everyone will stack up on the same tile. The bunker has a separate page.
